The hospital.

This is where treatment is carried out, in Antalya. The photography and footage on this page are of the actual building.

A short drive in from the airport, on a boulevard rather than a tourist strip.

Arrival

Reception and arrival.

Your UK coordinator — who booked your UK consultation — has someone at arrivals with your name on a card. The drive in is about twenty-five minutes. You walk into the lobby, past the curved wood desk, and sit down in the lounge while the kettle goes on. Patients regularly thank their coordinator by name in their Google reviews — and they are the one who usually answers when you message ahead.

The treatment floor

The treatment floor.

Most of the work happens in daylight. Your mouth is scanned on a TRIOS 6 — the same family of scanner used at Bridge Street, which is partly why the files travel cleanly between the two rooms. The restorations themselves are cut on this floor, from the same materials a careful UK practice would specify — set out in full on Treatments.

The equipment

The equipment on site.

Lo Smiles publishes its equipment list. CAD/CAM milling, 3D imaging, and the same scanner family used on Bridge Street. None of it is unusual for a serious practice — what makes it unusual is that all three sit in the same building as the lab and the chair, so the loop closes inside one floor.

Four chambers

The treatment floor, in four areas.

I · The first chair

Consultation room.

The first chair you sit in is in the consultation room — photographs taken, scans run, the plan written up while you watch it appear on the screen. No surgery happens here. It is the only chair in the building you sit in twice: once on day one, once on the last day, when the work is reviewed.

II · The treatment suite

Treatment suite.

Preparation and seating run from a second suite, two doors down. Our resident dentists take the work. The lab is one floor below, so a try-in that needs adjusting is fitted, returned, refined, and brought back the same afternoon. The mileage between the chair and the bench is short on purpose.

III · The corridor

The corridor.

Patients walk this corridor between sessions on their treatment day. It is the route from the lounge to the suite to the lab and back. It is also where the team passes each other — the dentist, the prosthodontist, the lab technician — which is the part you do not see in a brochure.

IV · The detail

Theatre preparation.

Lighting kept low until it is needed. Surfaces clean. The instrument tray laid out in the order it will be used. None of this is unusual for a careful practice — but it is unusual to film it before a patient ever arrives, because what is shown is what is there.

A room

A treatment room.

A treatment room against a dark accent wall, the light kept low until it is needed. The surgery is your named dentist’s — the implants, the prep, the fit are their hands. Another resident dentist runs your day-to-day on the floor in Antalya, the one you see between your dentist’s sessions. Most of a full case lands on day three, and you spend more of it in this chair than anywhere else in the building.

In the room

Who you meet on the floor.

The clinic is doctor-run — the founding story is on About. What matters on the day is who is in the building: four further specialisms sit in-house, so a case that turns out larger than cosmetic does not have to leave the floor.

  • Lead clinician
Your named dentist — your prep, fit and surgery.
  • Treating dentist
Another resident dentist runs the floor day-to-day, alongside your named dentist.
  • Prosthodontics
    In-house for complex restoration work.
  • Orthodontics
In-house when alignment precedes cosmetic work.
  • Periodontics
In-house for the gum work that has to come first.
  • Paediatric
In-house — the clinic treats families, not just travelling adults.
For anxiety

Sedation options are available on request, arranged before you fly — not negotiated on the chair.

For language

English-speaking clinical team. Translators on hand if you want one in the room.

The stay

A typical five-day stay.

Most cosmetic plans land in a single five-day visit. Complex implant cases run seven to ten. Either way, the rhythm is the same — and your coordinator confirms every appointment by name before you take off.

  1. Day 01Arrival

You land at AYT. A driver meets you with a card, the transfer is included, the boulevard is fifteen to twenty-five minutes. You go straight to the hotel, sleep on it, eat nothing fancy.

  2. Day 02Consultation & scan

You walk through reception, sit with your dentist, and the plan you saw in the UK is reconfirmed against the room. The TRIOS scan is taken — three seconds a quadrant. The lab on this floor starts cutting before you leave the building.

  3. Day 03The long chair

The prep day. Cosmetic plans take six to nine hours in the chair across the day with breaks for the lab. Sedation if you asked for it. Most of a case lands here.

  4. Day 04Try-in & adjust

You come back for the fit-and-feel of the work cut overnight. Small adjustments happen against your own face in the mirror, not posted weeks later.

  5. Day 05Fit & fly

Final fit in the morning, photographs taken, the written plan filed with the lot numbers of every piece. You leave with the case file as a PDF and a same-day transfer back to AYT.

The five days only begin once the plan is written. That plan is agreed at a thirty-minute consultation in the UK.

Outside the chair

Hotel and transfers.

Lo Smiles books your hotel, your driver, and the route between them — “luxury 4 or 5 star hotels” and “free VIP transfers” in their words, with the coordinator managing it all before you take off. Exactly what each plan includes is set out on Pricing.

The lab

The lab is in the same building.

That is the reason the work is fast. When your dentist preps your teeth in the morning, the zirconium is milled on site that afternoon, so the fit can be checked while you are still in town rather than posted out weeks later. The clinic floor below is where that loop closes — a few steps from the chair to the bench and back.

Before the flight

You see all of this in person. The part that comes first is thirty minutes with a Lo Smiles clinician on Bridge Street.
