Terms of service.
What you can expect from us, what we expect from you, and the things you should know about cross-border treatment specifically.
1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of losmiles.uk and the services described on it. By using the site or booking a consultation, you accept these terms. Treatment-specific terms (the treatment plan, costs, warranty) are agreed separately at the consultation and form a binding contract only once you sign them.
2. The service
We operate as a UK-fronted dental hospital service. Consultations are delivered by UK-based dentists at our UK consultation rooms. Treatment is delivered at our Antalya hospital. Aftercare is delivered jointly by the UK consultant and the Antalya treating clinician.
3. Cross-border treatment — important
Cooling off and cancellation. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a right to cancel a distance-purchased service within 14 days of contract formation. This right ends the moment treatment begins in Antalya. Treatment that has been performed cannot be cancelled or refunded. Treatment that has been planned but not yet started can be cancelled subject to deposit terms in your treatment plan.
Travel and accommodation. We arrange airport pickup, hotel, and transport as part of our standard service. Flights are not included unless agreed otherwise. We carry no responsibility for delays, cancellations, or disruptions to your flights — though our coordinator will help reschedule treatment where possible.
Treatment scope changes. Sometimes the in-person clinical examination in Antalya identifies factors that require the original plan to change. Any change is agreed with you in writing before it proceeds. You retain the right to refuse a changed plan and have any pre-paid amount refunded against treatment not yet performed.
4. Consultations and bookings
Booking a consultation is free and creates no obligation to proceed. We hold a consultation slot for you upon booking; if you fail to attend without notice, the slot is forfeited. Our cancellation window for consultations is 24 hours.
5. Pricing and finance
Indicative prices are published on the site; the binding price for your case is confirmed in writing after your consultation. Where finance is offered, the introduction is made by CT Sancta Ltd, an Introducer Appointed Representative of Ideal Sales Solutions Ltd, t/a Ideal4Finance (FRN 703401), which is an FCA-authorised credit broker (not a lender). Neither CT Sancta Ltd nor Lo Smiles is a lender; neither gives credit advice or is a party to any loan agreement. All finance applications are made directly to Ideal4Finance; loans are subject to status.
6. Warranty
The warranty document provided to you at the conclusion of treatment is the binding statement of what is guaranteed and for how long. We warranty dental implants for life and crowns for five years, in line with the warranty published on losmiles.uk. The warranty period starts at the date of fitting. It covers material failure, debonding, and fracture of restorations under normal use. It does not cover trauma, neglect of recall and home-care obligations, or the natural recession of supporting tissues over time. The warranty is honoured by Lo Smiles regardless of which clinician performed the original work.
7. Patient testimonials, photographs, and content
Where we use your before/after photographs, video diary, or written testimonial in our communications, that use is governed by a separate written consent that you sign. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing customer@losmiles.uk; we will remove the relevant material from our channels within a reasonable period (typically 30 days for digital, longer for print runs).
8. Influencer and content partnerships
If you participate as an influencer or content partner, you must disclose the partnership clearly on every piece of content using #ad, #gifted, or other CMA-compliant disclosure. Lo Smiles bears joint responsibility for compliance and we monitor partner content. Failure to disclose will result in termination of the partnership and removal of any benefits provided.
9. Limits of liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, our total liability for any claim arising from this service is limited to the amount you paid for the treatment in question.
10. Governing law & complaints
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. We are committed to resolving complaints first through our internal complaints process — see the Complaints page. If unresolved, claims may be brought in the courts of England and Wales.
